North East Paralympian, Stephen Miller finished his Sport Relief challenge this morning with over fifteen minutes to spare. He challenged himself to throw a club continuously for a mile in under an hour. Stephen achieved his goal at Gateshead Stadium in front of a cheering crowd of supporters and camera crews from the BBC and ITV.

Stephen chose to set up this challenge after he was appointed Sport Relief Ambassador for the North East. He explained to Spark FM how he thought the challenge went,

“Really well, it was hard work as the conditions weren’t very good. It was cold, windy and wet.”
