The January transfer window is already a third of the way through and teams continue to search for bargains and signings that could change thier season.

Sunderland are looking to make additions to the squad
Steve Bruce’s Sunderland look to be one of the busiest with stories emerging of potential deparutres from the Stadium of Light and the rumours of new arrivals. Bruce has been linked this week with the signing of Wigan Goalkeeper Chris Kirkland but he has today denied the rumours. There is also alot of covereage surrounding movement of Kenwyne Jones with Birmingham City an expected destination. However it remains to be seen if Birmingham will meet the 14 million pound price tag the Black Cats have placed on the Trinidad and Tabago striker.
Sunderland also seem to have entered the battle for cash strapped Portsmouth’s centre back Younes Kaboul. A price of 14 million pounds has been set by the South Coast side as Sunderland and Manchester City express interest in the former Spurs player.
One player whose future has beenĀ the focus of a lot of speculation is former Manchester United striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy. The Dutch forward
now plays at Spanish giants Real Madrid, however his playing time has been

limited this season to only 13 minutes and his unhappines has attracted aselection of Premier Leugue clubs. Main intrest has emerged from Stoke Cityalthough Harry Rednapp seems keen to take him to White Hart Lane. His record in the Premiership is that of a proven goalscorer with 95 goals in only 150 games for Manchester United.
Finally the rumours continue over where young English prospect Victor Moses will head during the window.
The striker currently plays his football at Championship outfit Crystal Palace but several big Premiership teams have been scouting him for some time and an offer looks like it is about to be tabled by several sides. The biggest being Manchester City who are believed to have offered 3.5 million.
