Sledging Coppers

A policeman who was filmed using his riot shield as a sledge has been
reprimanded for the stunt.

A clip was posted on YouTube, showing him sliding down a slope in Oxford.

The officer – along with three of his colleagues – was given a ticking off by
his Superintendant at Thames Valley Police.

They were told tobogganing on duty, on police equipment and at taxpayers’
expense was a bad idea.
