Stoke city are set to hold an internal inquiry into an alledged bust up between striker James Beatie, and manager Tony Pulis. BBC Stoke understood that the pair had to be seperated in the dressing room after their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday.
Pulis signed the striker from Sheffield United for £3.5 million in January and was important to their 12th place finish last season.
The row is believed to be about a misunderstanding about training times, and a possible day off training for the team. The Stoke team were set to remain in London for their Christmas Party. After the defeat, manager Tony Pulis announced that training is on Monday as usual. Beatie then rejected this request. Pulis then reacted angrilyto this, and the argument began.
Beattie payed a visit to the gym at the Brittania stadium where he is said to be continuing rehabilitation on his ankle injury. The stiker didnt train with his team mates though.
Stoke City have refused to comment over these reports.
