Despite getting a bit lost when trying to find the Spark Studios, Anna-Leigh (blaming her Mum) finally made her interview for The Local Music Show earlier this month.

Anna-Leigh, currently in her 3rd year, studying Drama at University of Sunderland, told Mark Coulson about her fresh songs and first music video.

What’s your inspiration?
‘All sorts of things, everyday life, observing people, situations.’

Do you write all your songs?
‘I’ve been co-writing with Richard Championy, who is a guitarist, he is brilliant. He writes the music for me and I write all the lyrics.’

Recently, filming the music video for her song ‘Let The Music Take You There’, Anna revealed that it was surprisingly, ‘very cold’ but it also was ‘really enjoyable, great fun and a great experience’.

Anna has more recently been recording in the Broadwater Studios over in Gateshead, producing three tracks; two of which (‘Let The Music Take You There’ and ‘Addiction’) are featured in Anna’s interview, from The Local Music Show on Wednesday 16th December – See below.
