Andrew arrived via James Cook University Hospital’s Southside Broadcasting in Middlesbrough, joining Spark in time for it’s launch in October 2009. Originally one of two sports shows, 107 Spark FM now only broadcast sport on Wednesday evenings with Andrew at the helm. Andrew is a BA Radio Graduate (2:1) from the University of Sunderland, and also holds a HND in Journalism, specialising in non-League football with published work in the Manchester Evening News and the Non League Paper. He also created Whitby Town Football Club’s Codcast programme and is a regular daytime cover presenter on Spark. He has also been heard on BBC Radio Five Live and BBC Radio Tees.

Adam is the originator of the internationally-renowned Callen Question and counts his favourite sporting moment as Sunderland’s vital 2-1 victory over old rivals Newcastle United in 2009. So unsuprisingly his favourite sports personality is Black Cats chairman and former player Niall Quinn.

Andy completes the three A’s line-up, his Muckles’ Mucker section has featured local stars of Boxing, Karate, Rugby Union and Football. Can also be heard on Saturday afternoons and throughout numerous Sunderland bars behind the wheels of steel.
Star guests include: Athletics superstar Michael Johnson, Sunderland’s own Olympic medallist boxer Tony Jeffries and Black Cats’ legends Gary Bennett and Mickey Gray.
