Sunderland Pride: Ophelia B

Earlier this year Spark FM had the chance to catch-up with the fabulous Ophelia Balls about Sunderland’s upcoming Pride festival.

Ophelia B is considered a key figure on the North East Gay Scene, popular with the LGBT community and wider community alike.

In Sunderland you can regularly find the drag sensation hosting Mwah! at Arizona Bar in the City Center every Tuesday night as part of the Cities LGBT evening.

Ophelia is also part of the Sunderland Pride Committee and has worked tirelessly alongside other members to ensure Sunderland history is made.
