The teenagers families released a joint statement with Greater Manchester Police confirming the news.

The young couple, Liam Curry 19 and Chloe Rutherford 17 were confirmed dead by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

The family posted a tribute online which was from the families of Liam and Chloe read: “On the night out daughter Chloe died and our son Liam died, their wings were ready but our hearts were not.

“They were beautiful inside and out to ourselves and our families, and they were inseparable.

“Chloe always described herself as ditzy who Liam adored and would do anything for, including dealing with Chloe’s demands for chocolate.

“They lived to go new places together and explore different cities. They wanted to be together forever and now they are.”

The Manchester Evening News has set up a fundraising page to help families which have been affected by the attack, the money will then be used by the British Red Cross who are offering support to those families. Click here to donate.
